This is a great Comedy series et in a Police Precinct in New York starring a nicely scripted,
charismatic personality type (played by Mr. Hal Linden), additionally, similar to Ed Asners
appeal on the Mary Tyler Moore show I suppose
Series also stars (from the Godfather I) Abe Vigoda, who is also with great lines in the show
and a diverse picked crew including a black, Hispanic, Japanese, Irish fellow officer crew
that makes for interesting entertaining and insightful viewing.
