Harmony Gold’s spliced movie dub of Kashi no Ki Mokku. Reconstructed the blu-ray release of the anime; 14 episodes and the textless opening. This was a bit of a long time coming due to the amount of ass shoving they did to make a movie out of the show and waiting to rip the PAL VHS. Mainly I’m making this a torrent here because OTW is a pain in the ass to upload to. I’m sure there’s at least like 1 person who would want this (outside of YT audience) Audio sources (synced, rendered to FLAC, converted to AC3): English: PAL VHS (original mono mix) with Warner DVD fill-ins (Warner’s 5.1 audio with pointless added SFX that clash with the quality of the original mix not included) German, Spanish, French: various DVD releases Previews for the sake of them existing. Yes the last 2 episodes used (51 and 52) are a bit blocky on the raw blu-ray rips. I think maybe they were scanned from a 16mm or something as opposed to a film negative. 3 differences from the original “movie” in this: Added a remaster credit during a black screen in the opening (I’ve had issues with someone bootlegging one of my reconstructions on Etsy. Fuck that guy.) Did not zoom in the video source during a certain scene The Puppet Master’s flashback was originally red tinted, but the Japanese blu-ray overcorrected it, so I made an attempt to revert it based on multiple sources of that scene. Refer to the original series as “Mokku of the Oak Tree” in the end credits instead of just “Mock” because that name sucks ass.
