NOR BD - Subtitles Notes: As the selected audio is UHD and superior to all Blu-ray/DVD sources, the commentary from Criterion is synced to the remux. However, the commentary had to be cut at the start to ensure sync, as there was no way around it. Afterward, only a few edits were required for it to sync. Additionally, the partial monologue commentary at the beginning due to the cut above was cleaned/silenced to ensure a pleasant experience. The BFI commentary source is 24FPS, so the speed had to be changed with sox, and the sync was done waveform to waveform, as the BFI source had a lot of frames out of sync (Frame Changes/variations) w.r.t UHD. It took about 23 edits to get the job done, but it should be perfectly in sync with the REMUX. The Criterion and BFI subs have been included in the remux and are in sync. Furthermore, additional subs from NOR BD are also in sync. OCR'd the Criterion & BFI English subs for a text based option & included Chinese SRT from iTunes. (The other subs from iTunes are an exact copy of the PGS, so ignored them). My personal preference is to use the BFI Subs for this movie - Comparison between the subs - http://kurosawamovies.com/comparisons.htm Chapter names from the Criterion Blu-ray have been adjusted to match the i-frames/scene changes.
