Volume 101 in English, with slightly altered Viz translations. Used Phantom Greyfire’s release as a base, massive credit to them. Welp, this is likely the last volume I do. With PZG and VLT taking the reins for new AND old volumes, I no longer feel the need to continue this. Which is fantastic, because again, and I can’t stress this enough, doing this sucks, and I feel like those teams are achieving results that are close enough to my ideal release anyway. Sure, maybe I’ll go through and personally change some things here and there for my own personal use, but I will gladly watch others handle the bulk of the work from here on out. I was happy to be able to bring the colored volumes up to speed once upon a time when it looked like the translations would never catch up, and thanks to all who have enjoyed my releases. It was a pleasure bringing One Piece to more readers, even if it took a lot out of me. I may even let go of my beloved “Rubber Rubber” translation; it’s just too much work to change. But for the record, it is the more accurate translation, and I guarantee you that if it were translated as “Rubber” to begin with, none of you would have any problem with it, and you would think “Gum-Gum” is the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard.
