Chang Ge Xing (The Legend of Princess Chang-Ge)

Chang Ge Xing/The Legend of Princess Chang-Ge is a donghua, or Chinese anime, based on the manhua Song of the Long March. The plot involves a princess who seeks to avenge the deaths of the rest of her family. If you are familiar with Yona of the Dawn, then the premise should be somewhat familiar. Historical dramas are extremely common among Chinese media. However, this one stands out among the rest for its protagonist. Li Chang Ge is a very cunning and calculated character, and she makes for a great female lead.
