Notes:
A new encode based on the JPBD remaster as most other non-remuxed releases either employed significant denoising/degraining of the source or were somewhat cropped. Light dehaloing was applied as well as fine adaptive grain-matching to alleviate macroblocking of darker regions and slight banding. See comparison screenshots.
Subtitles were based on the old CPM DVD release and significantly overhauled by me to bring them in concordance with the modern Funimation/Wiki translation standards of the TV series (Kuwahara → Kuwabara, Yusuke → Urameshi when addressed by Kuwabara, etc.), preserve technique names and terminology, restore honorifics, correct various typos, add several missing lines, completely retimed the script, split and combined certain lines to improve flow, typeset signs, and for the first time included a translation and karaoke of the ending theme Sayonara wa Iwanai (Credits: Hikari Project Fansub)
A song & signs-only track was also included for dub viewers as well as unstyled and original script subs for those that prefer them.
