Sisters Liz and Sharon are going for gold in front of today’s dealers, Jackie hopes to make sweet music with her unusual instrument, and Georges is bewitched by a painting.
Will Samantha’s saintly letter prove a big seller with the dealers? And does Claire from Yorkshire see a profit in her crystal ball? Who knows what the future holds?
Mary Louise has made the journey down from Angus, bringing an oak lectern that has valuation expert Simon Bower beguiled. It’s a ‘proper’ antique, which means Ian will always be interested, but exactly how does he plan to fit it in his caravan?
The room goes international with our second item of the day, as Stephen comes all the way from Vienna to visit Leith Theatre. He’s bringing a painting by celebrated Lancastrian artist James Isherwood, a name the dealers are sure to recognise.
Fans of alliteration will enjoy debonair Duncan’s dinky toys. Condition is king when it comes to these, though, so will he come to regret playing with them in his younger days?
Next to face the dealers are sisters Liz and Sharon, selling some heavy gold masonic chains. Usually, scrap metal queen Mel would be the dealer to target, but with new dealers the Rag & Bone Bros in the room, she might face stiff competition.
There’s always space for an unusual musical interlude in the room, and today is no different. Jackie has brought along a Balinese gamelan, but will her exotic offering be enough to conjure up a bid from the dealers?
