Try any or all of the following in order to get rid of KMPlayer's annoyances:
1.
Edit you hosts file, located in
c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/host
and add
127.0.0.1 player.kmpmedia.net
This will prevent the kmplayer to connect to the internet and no sidebar will appear.
2.
Add an empty file called index.htm to the LOGO subfolder and the sidebar is disabled.
3.
Go to Control Panel>Network and Internet>Internet Options>Security>Restricted Sites>Sites. Add player.kmpmedia.net and restart the player.
