「問い」を立てたのは上間祥之介さん。沖縄で障害者の戦争体験を調査してきた。しかし調査を続ける中で、戦争のことをどう伝えていけばいいのか壁にぶつかっている。「自分の言葉」で戦争を語るには――。独自の表現で戦争を描く漫画家・大白小蟹さんや、戦場カメラマン・渡部陽一さんと対話し、「問い」を探求する。さらに、これまで車いすが理由で入ることができなかったガマへ。そこで見つけた、戦争を語る「自分の言葉」とは？
