阪神・淡路大震災、東日本大震災、そして相次ぐ豪雨災害…。日本を襲ってきた大災害と向きあい、テレビ・ラジオは防災に関する報道を進化させてきました。『NHK民放6局防災プロジェクト』では「＃いのちともに守る」を合言葉に、6局が協力して、防災の知見や最先端の知見をシェアするなど、未来の命を救うための取り組みを続けています。プロジェクトを立ち上げたのは、東日本大震災から10年となった2021年。各局が保管する震災関連の映像を交換し合い、防災・減災に関するドキュメンタリーやニュース企画などを各局で制作・放送してきました。今後30年間に70％の確率で起きるといわれる「首都直下地震」などに、いま、私たちはどう備えればいいのか、局の垣根を越えて考えます。
