Macintosh Rom Images

These files are Apple's Macintosh ROM images that can be used with emulators to run the classic Mac OS Operating Systems.

These images are from old computers no longer supported by Apple and hence, they can be considered abandonware.

Abandonware is a product ignored by its owner and manufacturer, and for which no product support is available. Although such product is usually still under copyright, the owner may not be tracking or enforcing copyright violations. Abandonware is a variant of the general concept of orphan works.

As far as we know, Apple never released any official statements in regards to their legacy Mac ROMs and never took legal action to enforce it's copy.
