今回は関東軍が満洲を武力で占領しようと動き出す、満洲事変の勃発を中心に紐解く。昭和５年１１月、浜口雄幸総理が東京駅で銃撃を受ける。犯人の狙いとは何だったのか？満洲事変直前の昭和６年６月から８月にかけて、国内世論に火をつけるような事件が立て続けに起こる。「万宝山事件」「中村大尉事件」とはどんな事件だったのか？そして昭和６年９月１８日、日本の「１５年戦争」の幕開けといわれる満洲事変が勃発する。小さな線路爆破事件から、なぜ１５年に及ぶ戦争につながっていったのか？
