In fact, “Kak-Ola” is a reissue of the first and only album of the Californian group “Kak” - “Kak” (1968), but with bonus tracks. The group formed in Davis, but later settled in San Francisco. Typical representatives of the California psychedelia of those years. Leader and main songwriter Gary Lee Yoder would later join "Blue Cheer" and give the band its own sound
