Bull Angus, a band from Poughkeepsie, New York, was formed in the late 1960s by members of the Italian community. Its lineup has remained consistent throughout its existence. The band rented a farm in Rhinebeck for rehearsals, and since the area was surrounded by Angus cattle pastures, the band's name derives from this. The band didn't travel far beyond the state borders, but they performed quite actively and eventually caught the attention of Mercury Records. After signing a contract, the band headed to UltraSonic Studios in Hempstead, with Vinny Testa volunteering to oversee the sessions. As for the songwriting, the process was collaborative
