In the 70s, Dragon was one of New Zealand's premier rock bands, achieving even more success in neighboring Australia than at home. The group was formed in January 1972 from the wreckage of the "Staff" team. The Auckland-based heavy-prog ensemble has grown steadily in fan following, and after Dragon grabbed the first prize at the local rock marathon, they were offered a contract from Vertigo. The debut album "Universal Radio" became an underground bestseller, and the band, meanwhile, raised their ratings with shocking concert paraphernalia. A troupe of transvestite memes, pregnant strippers, rotting pig heads on microphone stands, and the destruction of musical and stage equipment - all this worked for the group's scandalous reputation. Within the collective, problems were brewing, slipping began and the matter ended in disintegration. And if not for the remaining commitments, the project would have remained in ruins, but the management revived the team and sent the "dragons" to record the album "Scented Gardens For The Blind" ...
