Description
1) install BricsCAD-V19.2.11-1-en_US(x64).msi
2) run Bricsys-NetworkLicenseManager.msi, under "additional tasks" select "activate a network licence" then click ok, this
will bring up a new window which will say "activate network licence", copy the "computer hostid" code (which is your mac address) then click "cancel".
3) open bricsys.lic using notepad and overwrite all 3 instances of "YOURHOSTID" with the mac address code that you just copied and save the file.
for example:
FEATURE bricsys rlm_server_enable_vm 30 permanent uncounted hostid=YOURHOSTID issuer="Git AMPED" sig="yom0mma"
SHOULD BECOME SOMETHING LIKE THIS:
FEATURE bricsys rlm_server_enable_vm 30 permanent uncounted hostid=18DBF102BFE2 issuer="Git AMPED" sig="yom0mma"
4) run rlmutil.exe in admininstrator mode.
5) copy bricsys.lic, rlm.exe and rlmutil.exe to the license manager folder and overwrite - C:\Program Files (x86)\Bricsys\Bricsys Network License Manager\
if it says that 1 of the files is in use open task manager and end the rlm.exe process.
6) run rlm.exe in administrator mode and allow access to network connections if windows asks you.
You need to run rlm.exe every time before you launch Bricscad for this to work.
