I couldn't find where you can stop program updates but I wouldn't update
It worked for me I just installed only God knows how long this will work for but
it is working now.

6. Launch the DVDFab by clicking on the shortcut
7. MD5 DVDFab64.exe: 51669F377B0E5C8DEDE60ED52DD2B80
