Those Snow White Notes
Mashiro no Oto
ましろのおと
Shamisen is a traditional Japanese musical instrument that looks similar to a guitar. Teenager Sawamura Setsu’s grandfather who raised him and his older brother Wakana, recently passed away. His grandfather was one of the greatest Shamisen players and the two siblings grew up listening to him play and learning to play the instrument. Since the grandfather’s death, Setsu dropped out of high school, moved to Tokyo and has been drifting, not knowing what to do besides play his Shamisen. That’s when his successful and rich mother, Umeko storms into his life and tries to shape Setsu up.
She enrolls him back into high school but little does Setsu know that he is about to rediscover his passion for Shamisen.

Notes on subtitles:
Modifications done to the English [GHS] subtitles:
EP 04: Fixed: (1) Line 702 (Tanukichi Diner) - Sign is misaligned; (2) Lines 705-758 (Help yourself) - Sign is invisible because it’s not in the clip region.
EP 05: Fixed: Lines 3271, 3272 (Karaoke) - Sign is misaligned.
EP 08: Lines 1-66 (Matsugorou Cup) - Uncommented the sign.
EP 11: Fixed: All dialogue lines are commented-out.
Added the missing fonts.
Why are those subtitles missing? Because Erai-raws didn’t have them.
All subtitles have been checked, and, if necessary, timed to make sure at least the dialogue is in sync with the audio. For languages other than English, I don’t guarantee frame-perfect sign sync, though.
All ASS subtitles have been resampled, if necessary.
All of the fonts (except those for English subtitles) are subset in order to save space, meaning they contain only the glyphs that are used.

Playback
It is highly recommended to watch any AV1 release with an up-to-date media player. I personally recommend the mpv media player, but MPC-HC or VLC also support AV1 playback.
