Wakfu is a French animated television series based on the video game of the same name by Ankama Games. Season 1 follows young Yugo, a boy who discovers he has the power to create teleportation portals. When his adoptive father Alibert is attacked, Yugo embarks on an epic quest to find his true family and origins. Along the way, he forms the Brotherhood of the Tofu with a diverse group of heroes including the stern Sadida princess Amalia, the mysterious Evangeline, the greedy Enutrof Ruel, and the formidable warrior Percedal. Together they face the menacing Nox, a time-manipulating villain seeking to harness the power of the Eliacube. This season contains 26 episodes of adventure, humor, and stunning animation that blends French and Japanese anime styles.
