Overview
Now in the Far North (i.e. Milan!), Alberto has accepted to manage a program for efficiency improvement in the Italian Post. He devotes all his time and all his energy to this noble task and neglects his wife Silvia, which of course annoys her beyond limits. Things do not fare much better in Castellabate where it is rather Maria, Matta's wife, who gets on his nerves by always blaming him for his lack of ambition. One day, due to a misunderstanding, Mattia is transferred to... Milan! And on whose doorstep does he land? Alberto's of course!

Trama
Alberto Colombo, brianzolo impiegato alle poste, ha finalmente ottenuto la promozione e il
trasferimento a Milano. Il Sud, in cui è stato benvenuto e benvoluto, sembra adesso un
ricordo lontano che Mattia, indolente compagno meridionale, risveglia col suo arrivo
improvviso. Perché la relazione con la bella Maria sta naufragando a causa della sua
immaturità e di un mutuo procrastinato. Deciso a dimostrare alla consorte di essere un
uomo responsabile, Mattia si lascia contagiare dall'operosità milanese finendo per fare
brunch e carriera sotto la Madunina. Alberto intanto, promosso direttore e occupato full
time, trascura la moglie che finirà per lasciarlo. Sedotti e abbandonati si rimboccheranno
le maniche e proveranno a riprendersi la famiglia e una vita migliore in un'Italia senza
confini e campanilismi.
