Scharlette journeys to the futuristic city of Panoptica with no idea what
its inhabitants will make of her.
Do they know she’s a runaway from ancestral Earth? The first person-
from-the-past to drop by and say hi? Or that she helped foil an
elaborate plot to stop their president from ever existing in the first place?
Will everyone want to give her a medal, maybe?
Instead President Charkie asks Scharlette to save humanity from an alien
race of vicious murderbugs known as the Germs. These sons-of-peaches
want to eviscerate anything they lay their eyeball stalks on – and now that
they’ve stolen time travel tech, they’re harder to squash than ever.
Scharlette isn’t sure that assigning such a task to someone with zero
experience in galactic warfare is such a good idea. She isn’t sure about it
at all.
The Panopticians are sure though – they think it’s a great idea!
Join Scharlette for a second wild ride through time and space, as she blasts
off once again with handsome time agent Tomothy Dartle and their trusty
spaceship Gordon.
