This is The Ship's self-produced LP featuring some of the more popular originals from its repertoire during its most active performance years. These selections were recorded over more than two years in various studies and released in the fall of 1976. They reflect the disparate styles generated by the group's two principal songwriters during those years, including stylish rock tunes, pop ballads, funk, and a bit of bluegrass, pop. In 2009, inspired by their 2008 Red Herring reunion performance, the group remastered the original recording for CD and digital release.
