Notes:
An updated release of this early 90s horror OVA, chiefly to supersede another aging one by SSP-Corp.
Treatments to reduce or eliminate haloing, chroma noise, dot-crawl, and aliasing were applied as well as adaptive grain-matching of macroblocking in darker regions and reductions in frame blends for cleaner playback. See comparison screenshots above.
R1 Media Blasters DVD subtitles were OCR’d with significant additional QC by me to correct the following:

Tighten script timings to reduce scene bleeds
Preserve honorifics and Japanese name order
Add many missing lines and correct a few others
Separate and join certain lines to improve flow
Typeset signs and songs
