US Jazz-Rock, Prog Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Funk Codec WMA Lossless Long awaited by die-hard fans, the great-sounding reissue of the Eclipse label, released in 1970, is the only album by the iconic American jazz-rock band with slightly soulful and funk inclinations. Personally, I don't like (to put it mildly) the funk from the late 70s and beyond... but the early funk music from circa 1969-1971 is excellent! The only and completely forgotten album by The Seven, I have known and owned for many years and consider it one of the coolest and most convincing titles inspired by the work of Blood, Sweat & Tears and the Chicago Transit Authority. The musicians of The Seven played a bit more relaxed, but not with less heat and dynamics - especially in the guitar parts! Probably if the LP had been released by e.g. CBS/Columbia (and not the local Thunderbird label), we would have been dealing with another jazz-rock star! Tracklist: 1.
