Teutonic Knights: The Knights of the Cross takes us on a journey to a fantastic world inspired by the Middle Ages. The production takes us to Poland (the Polish Crown) and Lithuania (the Grand Duchy of Lithuania), which are struggling with the threat from the Teutonic Order (the Order of the Hospital of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the German House in Jerusalem, whose members were called the Teutonic Knights). During the game, we play the role of a hero who travels through a war-torn land and gathers a team of daredevils, together with whom he will be able to avert the danger from the eternal enemy of his homeland once and for all.
The pillar of gameplay in Teutonic Knights: The Knights of the Cross is fighting opponents. The fights we watch from the side take place in turn-based mode, and during them we play cards corresponding to the skills of individual characters. The key to success is to use abilities that target the weak points of individual enemies, as well as to combine attacks into the most effective combinations possible.
As we progress, we compose an increasingly larger and more powerful deck. Moreover, over time, allies join us; they represent various professions (such as archer, warrior or even magician) and have unique skills that increase the combat potential of the entire team.
In addition, while playing, we carry out various tasks, follow the story and make decisions that affect its further course.
