During discussions that took place during a Colloquium on Numerical Methods for Engine-Airframe Integration at the AIAA 22nd Aerospace Sciences Meeting, several basic questions came to light in regard to the following: availability of computers, status of turbulence modeling, numerical methods for complex flows, and applicability of different levels and types of codes to specify flow interactions of interest in integration.
