The only album by the San Francisco, California-based band, formed in 1969. The band immediately caught the eye of legendary promoter Bill Graham, who immediately began recording. The album was released in 1970 on Graham's own label, San Francisco Records, but despite an expensive promotional campaign and good press, it failed to achieve commercial success. Graham was so confident of its success that, without waiting for the album's release, he set the musicians to work on a follow-up album, which was recorded but never released. Norman Landsberg later worked with the Pointer Sisters, and John Guerin collaborated with the L.A. Express and Joni Mitchell
