The Road Home was led by musically talented Bill Sprouse Jr., known by “Willy”. He was a Christian evangelist, singer and songwriter. There supposedly were two versions of this band, one religious and this one - which was a secular version. Billboard and Stereo Review gave it positive reviews upon release. Highlights: ‘Keep It In The Family’, ‘Birds’, ‘Restitution’, ‘Love’s Gonna Get You Anway’ and the opening title song that more than likely was tapped as a single.
