This release is the live recording of a 2021 late summer concert in Marleen im
Lili, a cultural space in a shopping centre named after Lili Marleen, a song
made famous by Marlene Dietrich. Three accomplished cello players are all
searching for a sound from a cello remote from the marvellous Jacqueline du
Pré. Still, instead of interpreting the classical cello literature, Reid,
Edwards, and Coudoux play free improvisation. [...]
