The band was created in Olsztyn in 2002 by ethnic Ukrainians - brothers Peter and Pavel Solodukha (from families evicted from their native land during Operation Vistula). It was named after the main character of Kotlyarevsky's poem Aeneid. Unique melody, bright parts mixed with Ukrainian folk motifs, elements of ska, reggae and jazz, fiery energy and simple lyrics accessible to every listener, not deprived of hidden meaning, instantly became loved not only by Polish but also by foreign audiences. The musical group consists of Ukrainians and Poles, the songs are performed in the languages ​​of both nations. "Eney" has been one of the most popular bands in Poland for several years in a row, its previous albums have become "gold" and "double platinum"
