We’re sorry for the long delay since last episode.
But we’re back on track and should continue deliver the mini encode for the rest of the season!
Starting from episode 04, we moved to the latest version of the encoder, which should deliver even better quality at slightly smaller filesize.
We’ll reencode previous episodes with latest encoder for the batch at the end of the season.

Filtering and Encoding
This is a mini encode for Android wa Keiken Ninzuu ni Hairimasu ka??.

For filtering, we use a much stronger and much less protective denoise than the main encode using vsdenoise.DFTTest and vsdenoise.bm3d to clean up as many mosquito noise in the source as we can. And then we apply the same aa, dehalo and deband as the main encode.
For encoding, we use the latest version of 5fish/SVT-AV1-PSY with --lineart-psy-bias 3 --texture-psy-bias 4 for this encode. It should be quite nice for the filesize.
Thanks to all the people creating the tools, plugins and vsfunc’s that make this possible, and thanks to everyone in the community for teaching me, pointing out issues, and giving me advice.
