"Fillmore West '71", compiled from reel-to-reel soundboard masters,
culled from a weekend of live music recorded at the San Francisco venue in January of 1971; roughly six weeks before the band performed the March 1971 concerts which became their famed "At Fillmore East"
The band was the middle act playing between headliners Hot Effin' Tuna
and the 24-piece opener Trinidad Tripoli Street Band.
