Suddenly… They were the only adults left alive on the island
A couple of English tourists arrive at the island of Almanzora, off the Spanish Mediterranean coast, where they discover that there are no adults in a small fishing village, only some children who stare at them and smile mysteriously.

Description
Who can kill a child (1976) aka ¿Quién puede matar a un niño?, directed by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, uncut Mondo Macabro remaster, encoded in 10 bit HEVC with AAC sound, including original Spanish theatrical mono, English export dub, English "Island of the Damned" dub, commentary track, and English subtitles.
IMDb : https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075462/
Video encoded in two-pass 15.0 Mbps x265 10bit with the veryslow preset for archive quality image. Audio encoded separately with Apple AAC for the highest-quality AAC sound available. Subtitles converted to VobSub and repositioned.
Note : We've seen some stuff from Spanish horror maestro Ibaño Serrador before, but this is one of his best, I think, a tight, disturbing, taboo-breaking story along the lines of Children of the Corn (hilariously, this was shown in the US at some point as "Children of the Corn Tortilla", which is both amazing and incredibly ignorant), where the children of a remote community have all risen up to murder the adults. It's creepy and weird and maintains the tension pretty much non-stop until the banger of an ending. Features Lewis Fiander, Prunella Ransome, Antonio Iranzo, Miguel Narros, Marisa Porcel, and Luis Ciges.
The film opens with a (maybe tasteless) montage of images of war and genocide, in particular portraying its effect on children. An English couple, Tom and Evelyn are vacationing in Spain, and Evelyn is very pregnant. They arrive on a remote island where at first they encounter no one, then a few strangely behaving children. After a while, they witness the children comitting extremely violent acts on the few remaining adults, and it becomes clear they've already killed most of them. Whatever's wrong with the children seems to be contagious, and when they decide to pursue Tom and Evelyn, the couple must arm themselves and fight back, but what about the unborn child?
This is a pretty decent remaster, a bit grainy, a bit low saturation, but generally quite nice looking. Mono track sounds good, the two English dubs are decent alternatives, and the commentary track is interesting.
