The video is a 1080p 16mm film capture. Provided by WOWmd, captured on Kineko Video’s facilities. Seeing how this never had a raw available, WOWmd snatched it, shipped to Kineko and commissioned a scan from them. Seeing how this never had a raw available, I jumped at the opportunity to sub it exclusively with the first ever public raw, and a pristine one at that. The show itself is nothing special, it’s a short story, retelling the life of Sakura Sōgorō, an oppressed farmer from the Edo Japan who had decided to snitch on his lord, which was illegal at the time, for whatever reason. The exising MAL description is misleading at best, so I totally wasn’t expecting what I ended up getting, namely—a mixure of Kimu no Juujika and Gusko Budori no Denki. It’s the best comparison I can think of because it manipulates you into getting interested in my previous works. The show’s ending is a “Bero-dashi Chonma” song, and half of its lines are literally that. However, the other half is completely indecipherable with the current optical audio and no chance of finding a clean version of it, let alone lyrics, therefore, I left it unsubbed.
