Plot Summary:
Wrongfully imprisoned, Lee Kang-soo is offered a deal by ambitious prosecutor Koo Kwang-hee: become a “yadang” — a snitch embedded in the criminal underworld — in exchange for a reduced sentence. As Kang-soo infiltrates a powerful drug cartel, his intel paves the way for Kwang-hee’s rise to prominence.
However, narcotics detective Oh Sang-jae becomes suspicious of Kang-soo’s role and begins a parallel investigation. As tensions rise and loyalties blur, the line between justice and corruption begins to disappear.
