βAmazing! It was like a Yes renaissance for me.β ~ Jon Anderson, speaking about the Yes Talk album in 2023.
Released in 1994, Talk was the 14th studio album by the legendary progressive rock band Yes, and the last to feature guitarist Trevor Rabin and keyboardist Tony Kaye.
Talk was a groundbreaking project, being one of the first albums to be recorded and edited entirely digitally, without the use of traditional audio tape.
To celebrate the albumβs 30th anniversary, Spirit of Unicorn Music is reissuing this progressive rock masterpiece with detailed liner notes written by PROG magazine editor Jerry Ewing, who spoke to Trevor Rabin and Jon Anderson about the recording of this classic album.
All format versions have been completely remastered by renowned engineer Andy Pearce.
The release features bonus tracks and an unreleased live performance in New York in 1994.
The original vinyl records, which are in great demand among fans, sell for over Β£100.
A 1-CD version is also available.
The album has been out of print for a long time and will therefore be of interest to both Yes fans and collectors. ~ cherry red
