Ferre Grignard (metric Fernand Grignard) - Belgian musician from Antwerp. Born March 13, 1939. A generation of sixties in Belgium recognized him as the first hippie protester. After the international success in 1965 of his song “Ring Ring, I’ve Got To Sing,” he even performed at the Paris Olympia. In the midst of his career, he went to live in the hippie community, where he studied music, painted and, of course, helped friends with money. In short, he neglected his career and was soon forgotten by his fans. He died in Antwerp of throat cancer on August 6, 1982 at the age of 43 years. At that time, he lived in the attic without heating, surrounded by empty bottles. He was buried in the Schoonselhof cemetery among the most respected citizens of Antwerp. Here is the third solo album of the musician.
