Kaizaki Arata, a 27-year-old jobless man, fails at every job interview he has after quitting his last company. His life changes after he meets Yoake Ryou of the ReLife Research Institute, who offers him a drug that can change his appearance to 17-year-old in order to make him a subject in an experiment for one year. Thus, he begins his life as a high school student once more.

Notes on subtitles:

Modifications done to the English subtitles (OVAs and Specials only):

All OVAs: Added dialogue fades-to(from)-white(black) where needed. Adjusted a few start and/or end timings.
OVA 1, 3: Fixed: The last sign, “Next Episode,” disappears one frame sooner in both subtitles.
OVA 2: Fixed: Main subtitles were 2 frames ahead of the video.
Both mini specials: Edited the script. Retimed. Restyled the dialogue to match that used in the OVAs exactly.


All subtitles have been checked, and, if necessary, timed to make sure at least the dialogue is in sync with the audio. For languages other than English, I don’t guarantee frame-perfect sign sync, though.
All ASS subtitles have been resampled, if necessary.
All of the fonts are subset in order to save space, meaning they contain only the necessary glyphs for their respective subtitles.

Playback
It is highly recommended to watch any AV1 release with an up-to-date media player. I personally recommend the mpv media player, but MPC-HC or VLC also support AV1 playback. Note that some newer versions of VLC have issues with Opus surround sound playback. If you must use it, v3.0.20 apparently doesn’t have this problem.
